The Aquafab Lab Controller is the brain of the lab: the hardware console that runs Aquafab Workbench and drives your pumps, valves, heaters, chillers and sensors, so experimental conditions follow precise timed or reactive schedules — without someone standing at the bench.

What it automates

  • Diurnal and tidal cycles of temperature, flow and light
  • Dissolved-oxygen control for hypoxia studies
  • Measure/flush cycles for intermittent-flow respirometry
  • Synchronizing multiple systems for large behavioral or physiological experiments

Built for researchers

  • Professional operator console with custom trial programming
  • Guided PID calibration wizards for flow, temperature and flush volume
  • Self-monitoring that flags components needing service
  • Remote system status and alerts
  • Integration with third-party research sensors and equipment

The Aquafab Lab Controller and Aquafab Workbench ship with every Alpha system and can be retrofitted to existing tanks, flumes and racks — including equipment from other manufacturers.
