Aquarium & habitat displays
Aquarium & Habitat Displays
Biome-specific habitats that simulate real environments — tide pools that follow natural tide cycles, shallow reefs with real breaking waves and living river streams — plus turnkey public aquarium exhibits we design, build and install.
Biome-specific habitats
Living environments that behave like the real thing
We specialize in biome-specific tanks that simulate real environments — not just how a habitat looks, but how it moves, cycles and changes through the day.
- Tide pools that follow natural tide cycles, raising and lowering the water level throughout the day
- Shallow reefs with real waves building and breaking over the reef
- River streams with true unidirectional current over riffles and pools
- Biotope displays matched to a specific region, habitat and species list
Environments we build
Choose a biome — we engineer the physics behind it
Every habitat is custom. These are the environments we're known for simulating.
Real rising and falling tides on natural or programmed tide tables, exposing and re-flooding organisms through the day.
Programmable waves that build and break over the reef, with full-spectrum reef lighting and marine life support.
A living stream with controllable current, riffles, pools and temperature control for native fish and invertebrates.
Reef, planted and biotope aquariums for lobbies, classrooms and public galleries — turnkey from design to install.
Public aquariums & museums
We take on public aquarium exhibits — every part of the build
Public aquariums, science centers and museums work with one accountable team. We handle every aspect of the exhibit and install and set up everything on site.
- Exhibit concept, biome design and species planning
- Custom acrylic tanks, rockwork layouts, stands and cabinetry
- Life support, filtration, temperature control and monitoring
- Tide, wave, flow and lighting automation in Aquafab Workbench
- Contractor coordination, delivery, installation and commissioning
- Staff training and ongoing maintenance
How an exhibit comes together
From concept to opening day
Concept & biome
We define the environment, species, viewing experience and space with your team.
Engineer & build
Tanks, life support, controls and cabinetry are designed and built in-house, then tested before delivery.
Install & commission
Our team installs, fills, cycles and tunes the tides, waves and lighting on site.
Train & support
Hands-on training for your staff, plus maintenance and support for the life of the exhibit.
Who our displays are for

Powered by Aquafab Workbench
Nature on a schedule.
Aquafab Workbench drives the tides, waves and light that make a habitat feel alive — and keeps an eye on water quality while it does.
Tides & waves
Natural tide cycles that raise and lower the water through the day, and wave programs from gentle surge to breaking sets.
Lighting cycles
Sunrise, sunset, moonlight and seasonal programs.
Monitoring & alerts
Remote status and alerts so staff know the exhibit is healthy.

FAQ
Display questions
Do you install?
Yes. We act as your turnkey contractor — building, delivering, installing and commissioning the exhibit, and training your staff.
Can you simulate a specific habitat?
That's our specialty. Tell us the region, species and conditions you want to show — tides, waves, current, temperature or light — and we'll engineer the system to reproduce them.
Do you work with public aquariums and museums?
Yes. We handle every aspect of the build — design, fabrication, life support, controls, contractor coordination and installation — so your team has one partner from concept to opening day.
Can you maintain the exhibit after opening?
Yes. We offer scheduled maintenance visits and remote monitoring through Aquafab Workbench, plus lifetime technical support.

Planning an exhibit?
Tell us about the environment you want to bring indoors.
Share your space, species and vision — we'll design the habitat, build it and install it.
